Transport in Dubai for New Years

It;s essential to note that this is the busiest night of the year in Dubai in one of the busiest party cities in the world. We wouldn’t attempt anything impromptu; pre-book and plan what you intend to do and get there many hours beforehand.

The Metro train will run all night to help revellers get around, but be aware of station bottlenecks.

Taxis can be prebook but are absolutely notorious for cancelling all pre-bookings and working on a ‘just in time’ system to try and keep the city moving.

A series of road closures are implemented in the hours before new years.
